Aura Kitchens & Cabinetry Inc. (“Aura Kitchens”) is a custom kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity manufacturer serving Mississauga, Burlington, Vaughan, Oakville, and Richmond Hill. Aura’s products are known for their elegant integration of form and function. Using an in-house design team and professional installers, Aura works closely with clients to deliver custom products.

The Canada Digital Adoption Program is a national program supporting the growth of small and medium businesses by making the adoption of digital tools and technologies easy and accessible.
The program consists of two streams: Grow Your Business Online and Boost Your Business Technology.
row Your Business Online is targeted at small, consumer-facing businesses with at least one employee, and provides access to a network of E-commerce advisors, as well as a micro-grant of up to $2,400 for eligible digital adoption expenses. The Grow Your Business Online stream is delivered through regional partners, and is delivered through Connected Saskatchewan for Saskatchewan businesses.

Boost Your Business Technology is targeted at small to medium businesses with at least one employee and between $500,000 and $5 million in annual revenue. The program provides up to $15,000 for the creation of a digital adoption plan, as well as a $100,000 interest-free loan and a $7,300 wage subsidy to help implement the plan. The Boost Your Business Technology stream is delivered through the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
Connected Saskatchewan is NOT responsible for delivering the Boost Your Business Technology stream, and is unable to answer specific questions or view the status of your application. Yes. Eligible businesses can access both streams of the program, subject to approval by the respective delivery agent.
The program will be available until March 2025, subject to remaining grant availability.
This program focuses solely on services that assess your digital maturity and opportunities to improve your competitiveness through digital transformation. You can’t use the grant to purchase new hardware and platforms. But you can use it for advisor fees, commissions, and charges associated with creating your digital adoption plan.
Once you’re approved, your digital advisor will:
- Conduct a business needs assessment,
- Provide solution options that align with your budget and business objectives, and
- Build out a strategy and roadmap.
You’ll have nine months to put together your digital adoption plan and submit all relevant invoices to the Boost Your Business Technology Grant program for reimbursement (up to 90% of eligible expenses, to a maximum of $15,000).
Your company is required to work with one of the Government of Canada’s approved partners to receive the grant. Digital advisors will help you assess both your digital maturity and the business opportunities you can realize with the support of modern hardware and platforms.
Specifically, this portion of the program will provide you with a:
- Current state analysis
- Post-transformation capability report
- Summary of proposed digital solutions, including a cost/benefit analysis of your top three options and high-level requirements
- Near- and long-term digital strategy
- Implementation roadmap (e.g., timelines, costs and required capabilities)
The completion of these documents will be the end of your Boost Your Business Technology grant experience — although it’s just the beginning of your digital transformation. You’ll then have an opportunity to apply for the interest-free loan through BDC, with an option to choose the same or a different advisor to help you bring you implement your roadmap.
You may also qualify for a $7,300 wage subsidy to hire a current student or recent graduate as part of your digital transformation or adoption initiative.
